The first Bootcamp in Ukraine was held with a focus on innovations in the food and medical industry: Results

On November 18-19, the “Food and Health Innovation in Ukraine” Bootcamp was held. This is the first Bootcamp in Ukraine with a focus on innovations in the food and medical industry.

The organizers were the Ukrainian Startup Fund, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv University Science Park Corporation, together with Inter HEI Initiative and EIT Food.

About 100 participants took part in the two-day online event, including technological entrepreneurs, startups, students, graduate students, university graduates, etc.

The Bootcamp program included theoretical and practical parts, where participants had the opportunity to learn about key trends in the food and medical fields from market leaders, find relevant business ideas for the development of their own projects in the food or medical field, and also learn about opportunities to commercialize their own ideas .

As part of the Bootcamp, teams and individual participants also took part in workshops from leading experts in the field of innovation and investment activity, actively communicated with event partners and invited experts, participated in mentoring sessions, received practical advice from mentors on promoting their own business, etc.

For two days, the event was dominated by an atmosphere of intensive mentoring under the tutelage of leading experts in business, marketing, sales, investment and innovation, as well as professionals in the food industry and the medical field.
