WHAT DOES THE FUND OFFER?
Speed up the approval of your UAV.
To simplify the interaction between the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and UAV manufacturers, the USF has developed a functionality on the Fund’s web portal, which allows every developer who has a finished product to apply to the Ministry of Defence for approval of their product for operation. Official approval for operation means that the MoD can purchase the products and the Armed Forces can put them into service.

After submitting an application on the Portal, when can I expect feedback on a positive assessment?
The application is the first stage of cooperation in conducting tests and preparing all necessary documentation. It contains only basic data to get started (personal information, general characteristics of the UAV) and is processed in accordance with all data protection and processing standards.
All further exchange of documents takes place in the mode agreed with the representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

How long does the process take from submitting an application to putting the product on “patrol”?
The UAV approval procedure takes approximately 1 month (previously 1.5-2 years).

Are there any statistical indicators of the Programme’s success?
Yes. In total, since November 2022, 50 samples of Ukrainian-made UAVs have been approved for operation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (43 of which were approved through Fast Track).
