USF congratulates the winners of the startup competition within the framework of IT ARENA 2021

The Ukrainian Startup Fund congratulates the winners of the Startup Competition within the framework of the country’s largest technical conference IT Arena that took place on October 7-9, 2021 in Lviv.
This year’s event was held in a mixed format, combining the benefits of offline (live networking and face-to-face communication (all Covid-19 security measures had been taken) and online (involving participants from anywhere in the world through an interactive online platform). During the three days of the conference, Pavlo Kartashov, Director of the Ukrainian Startup Fund, took part in IT Arena discussion panels, which gathered more than 4,000 participants from leading Ukrainian and foreign companies, well-known speakers, IT experts, and industry leaders from all over the world.
Also, on behalf of USF as a partner of Startup Competition, Pavlo Kartashov congratulated the finalists of the competition and awarded the winners at the Lviv National Opera.
The winners of the IT Arena Startup Competition are:
- 1st place – Mosqitter. Technological protection against mosquitoes. They received a cash prize of $ 20,000 for development.
- 2nd place – Zeely. The application for creating corporate sites by mobile devices. They received a cash prize of $ 18,000 for development.
- 3rd place – Caretech.human. A special gadget for continuous automatic health monitoring and detection of various diseases in the early stages at home. They received a cash prize of $ 18,000 for development.
Such startups as Workee, Jiffsy, elai.io, V-Art, Saldo Apps, nect WORLD, Lab24 also made it to the finals of the Startup Competition. It is important that 10 out of 10 finalists are applicants for the Fund`s Grant programs. 3 out of 3 winners are startups that received grants from the USF.

IT Arena 2021 is the eighth technical conference, six previous took place at Arena Lviv stadium. Throughout its history, IT Arena has been visited by 18192 attendees from more than 40 countries, 678 well-known speakers have made presentations. 800 startups participated in IT Arena Startup Competition, 162 meetups and 24 afterparties were held in Lviv, and 525 hours of exciting networking were conducted.
