USF becomes an official partner of the Alliance of Democracies Foundation (AoD) and joins the DemTech Entrepreneur Fellowship 2023
The Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF) becomes an official partner of the Alliance of Democracies Foundation (AoD), a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of democracy and free markets across the globe.
AoD was founded in 2017 by Anders Fogh Rasmussen (Founder of Rasmussen Global, Secretary General of NATO (2009-2014), and Prime Minister of Denmark (2001-2009).
Alliance of Democracies actively supports Ukraine in wartime and works to support democracy in Ukraine. Special attention is paid to the support of the Ukrainian tech community.
One of the AoD initiatives, which the Ukrainian Startup Fund joins, is the Democracy Tech Entrepreneur Fellowship.
In cooperation with the Alliance of Democracies Foundation, USF also becomes an official of the DemTech Entrepreneur Fellowship Program 2023.
Tech entrepreneurs from Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Armenia or Venezuela will have the opportunity to receive a full fellowship under this program next year. In addition to training, participants will have the opportunity to participate in the Copenhagen Democracy Summit to present their projects to investors and build partnerships with stakeholders of the startup ecosystem in Denmark.

Ukraine also has democratically oriented startups with innovative ideas that can offer solutions for strengthening and developing democracy. Democracy Tech is a global trend and an important direction in the development of the technological industry. Now, when Ukraine is fighting for the values of democracy and freedom, the Tech industry does not stand aside, but on the contrary – does everything possible to bring victory closer. Democracy Tech startups are no exception. They have a chance to find their niche in the global market in this area,” said Pavlo Kartashov, director of the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
The terms of the competition for participation in the Democracy Tech Entrepreneur Fellowship 2023 will be announced later.
