USF and GIST started accepting applications from Ukrainian startups to participate in WebSummit 2022 (Portugal)

The Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF) with the Global Innovation through Science and Technology initiative (GIST) are starting the selection of Ukrainian startups to participate in Web Summit 2022 – the largest technology conference in the world.
The annual international IT conference – Web Summit – will be held from November 1-4, 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The event brings together founders and leading experts from global companies and the most promising startups, investors and leading journalists, full of new ideas and fresh perspectives.
Web Summit will bring together more than 70,000 visitors – representatives of the technology industry from all over the world. 2000+ startups and over 2500 media representatives in one place. Over 900 speakers, including CEOs and founders of such companies as Binance, Revolut, Techstars, Checkout, Twitch and many others.
All selected startups will receive free booth and entrance tickets to the WebSummit, and the USF partner GIST will additionally provide financial support for 8 startups to cover travel and accommodation costs.
Terms of participation:
- – You are ready to demonstrate a finished product or service (layout/ prototype/ etc.);
- – You have the English-speaking founder (or the representative);
- – You did not participate in the delegation of startups within the Innovation Voucher Program for WebSummit 2021 (except for cases of a new stage of your project or pivot).

In addition to the delegation of startups, Ukraine will be strongly represented at the WebSummit 2022. The Ukrainian stand and several events are organized jointly with UNIT.City, UFuture, Ukrainian Hub, ЕВА, Iplace.agency, WhiteRocks, Flyer One Ventures, Sigma Software, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in Portugal.
