USF together with N1 Investment Fund launched a new program for fintech startups with the opportunity to receive investment and expert support
The Ukrainian Startup Fund together with the specialized fintech N1 investment fund launched a new program for fintech startups that want to attract investments and receive expert support.
The application period is from October 31 to December 15, 2022.
To participate in the program, startups must meet the following criteria:
- Fintech and fintech satellites (especially projects that use or plan to use Open Banking and Blockchain technologies);
- An expert team with experience in the field of its solution, having a deep understanding of the problem and market solutions;
- The startup has the potential to scale, in addition to the opportunity to develop in foreign markets.
N1 fund considers the following options for investment:
1. Investment in a startup:
- Stage: Late seed – series A (from “working solution, product market fit confirmed by first sales”, to “steady sales, there is a need to scale”);
- Possible check: ~ 250 – 1,000k USD depending on the proposed solution;
- Requirements for submitting a request: Pitch deck and presence of a financial model.
2. Investment in a technology:
- Stage: existence of the developed technology and idea that allows to create a solution for the end user (often it is b2b / outsourcing teams trying themselves in b2c / product launch);
- Possible check: from 50k USD;
- Requirements for submitting a request: a description of the technology and its use cases with a list of customers, a description of the solution idea based on this technology or (preferably) a description of the target business model.
The amount of investment from N1 Fund is individual in each case.
After submission of applications, N1 Fund will conduct internal compliance of the projects and submit them to the N1 Fund Investment Board for a final decision.
