USF will provide financial support to the winners of the IT Arena Startup Competition 2022
The Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF) will provide financial support to the winners of the IT Arena Startup Competition 2022, increasing the prize fund of the competition.
The total prize fund of the IT Arena Startup Competition 2022 from CRDF Global and USF is $53,000.
Startup Competition is an annual large-scale event for innovative startups in Eastern Europe, which takes place as part of the largest tech conference in Ukraine – IT Arena. Every year, this event in Lviv brings together the best and brightest entrepreneurs, investors, and business angels.
This year, IT Arena 2022 will be held from September 30 to October 1.
The Ukrainian Startup Fund as a partner of IT Arena Startup Competition invites Ukrainian startups to take part in the Startup Competition 2022.
Registration for startups to participate in the selection for the semifinals of the competition is already open: https://startupdepot1.typeform.com/to/wt5feE (applications are accepted until September 11).
The conditions for participation:
- the startup needs to be no more than 2 years old and have at least a demo version of the product;
- the startup has to have raised no more than $500k of investments;
- you need to be ready to be interviewed and confirm your participation in the pitch of 30 startups;
Timeline:
- Stage 1 (August 1) – Registration is open.
- Stage 2 (until September 11) – Registration on the IT Arena website.
- Stage 3 (September 12-25) — Evaluation of startups (online interview).
- Stage 4 (September 26) — Announcement of 30 semi-finalists.
- Stage 5 (September 27) – Workshop. Pitch & Presentation.
- Stage 6 (September 30) — Startup Competition semi-finals.
- Stage 7 (October 1) – The final of the Startup Competition (1st place – $20,000, 2nd place – $18,000, 3rd place – $15,000).
