Ukrainian Startup Fund and Seedstars Kazakhstan LLP started cooperation

Director of the Ukrainian Startups Fund Pavlo Kartashov together with Seedstars Kazakhstan LLP General manager Shakarim Serik signed a memorandum of partnership.

Considering the urgent need to create the best conditions for the development of startups ecosystem in Ukraine and the need of consistent sustainable development with the world best practices, the cooperation with Seedstars Kazakhstan LLP and their successful experience working with thousands of startups will be extremely valuable.

I am sure, that due to this partnership and at the level of expert and mentoring interaction, Ukrainian startups will have even more opportunities to assess their level and increase their investment attractiveness’, – Pavlo Kartashov comments on the details of the cooperation.

The purpose of the Memorandum is to establish strategic cooperation between the Ukrainian Startup Fund and Seedstars Kazakhstan and to identify the ways of the mutual information and media support, organization and holding of joint events, including those aimed at exchange experience regarding the best practices on the development of the startup ecosystem.

The parties agreed that they will share relevant knowledge and skills by participating in joint projects, events, meetings, etc.

The Ukrainian Startup Fund is a state fund launched on the initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The mission of the fund is to promote the creation and development of technology startups in the early stages (pre-seed and seed), in order to increase their global competitiveness. The process of selecting startups for grants is competitive: companies are evaluated and selected by a board of independent investment experts.

Seedstars Kazakhstan LLP is a part of is a Swiss-based private group of companies “Seedstars” with a mission to impact people’s lives in emerging markets through technology and entrepreneurship. The groups’ activities cover over 80 emerging ecosystems through a variety of events such as the annual Seedstars World Competition, acceleration programs, physical hubs called Seedspace, venture capital investments and company building activities.
