The Next Web Conference is one of Europe’s most influential tech events, shaping the future of innovation, digital transformation, and breakthrough technologies. Every year, TNW brings together thousands of founders, investors, and change-makers from across the continent. This year, Ukraine is joining this powerful ecosystem for the first time — with its own national pavilion of tech startups and scaleups.

What will selected participants receive?

• TNW 2025 tickets for your team
• A dedicated booth at the conference (for 1 day)
• Access to an international networking platform to connect with potential partners and clients
• Participation in official meetings and side activities of the Ukrainian delegation

We are looking for 8 startups and scaleups that meet the following criteria:

👉 Scaleups

• Funding: have raised external funding from Series A to Series C (i.e., after the first significant VC round);
• Founded: between 2014–2021;
• Team size: up to 200 employees;
• Product: development of a unique software or hardware solution;
• Positioning: identify as a Ukrainian scaleup.

👉 Startups

• Funding: bootstrapped or at the pre-seed / seed stage (up to Series A), with total raised funding not exceeding €1 million;
• Founded: between 2018–2024;
• Team size: up to 100 employees;
• Product: development of an innovative software or hardware solution;
• Positioning: identify as a Ukrainian startup.

Selection process:

1. Fill out the application form.
2. Eligibility review.
3. Online Pitch Day — pitching to a jury of Ukrainian and international experts.
4. Final selection and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation at TNW Conference.

Application and pitch language: English. The application form is available in your personal account on the Ukrainian Startup Fund’s portal, under the "Partner Programs" section.

The participation of the Ukrainian delegation is organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, YEP Accelerator, Plug and Play, and Seeds of Bravery.

After participating in the tech mission, selected startups must be ready to submit a report outlining their results — including preliminary agreements on investments, partnerships, and client acquisition — and provide an update on outcomes and progress within a specified timeframe.

The selection process for Ukrainian startups to participate in Web Summit Vancouver is now open!

This year, the traditional Web Summit will be held for the first time in Vancouver, Canada, where the Ukrainian technological ecosystem will also be presented this May. Web Summit Vancouver is a massive tech event that continues Collision — the largest tech conference in North America.

Web Summit in Vancouver will gather over 15,000 participants, 750 startups, and 600+ investors in North America's tech hub — the city of leaders like Apple, Amazon, and unicorns like Dapper Labs and Blockstream. According to StartupBlink, Vancouver ranks 2nd among the best startup ecosystems in Canada.

At Web Summit Vancouver, 8 Ukrainian startups will have the opportunity to showcase their innovations at individual stands, explore new markets, and establish partnerships with top global players 🇺🇦 🇨🇦

Participants are offered partial coverage of travel expenses.

Apply if your startup meets the following criteria:

1️⃣ Stage of development: Seed or Series A, established less than 6 years ago

2️⃣ A unique software or hardware product with a functional website

3️⃣ An independent company, not a subsidiary of a large corporation

4️⃣ Positions itself as a Ukrainian startup and utilizes technologies created in Ukraine

3. Online Pitch Day: Presentation before a panel of Ukrainian and international experts
4. Final selection and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation at Web Summit Vancouver 2025
