ІT Arena 2022: Results of the largest tech conference in Eastern Europe

From September 30 to October 1, the most anticipated technological event of Ukraine took place — IT Arena, which brought together almost 1,000 offline participants.
IT Arena 2022 is one of the largest gatherings of technology industry leaders, experts and everyone who is at the forefront of Ukraine’s digital future. The following topics were discussed during this year’s conference:
- – how the technological industry can support the country during the war;
- – the future of military technologies;
- – insights about modern cyber tactics, etc.
As part of the event, on October 1, the final of the Startup Competition 2022 was held at the Lviv National Opera.
The total prize fund of Startup Competition 2022 this year was $335,000.
The winners are:
- The first place and $20,000 – WRAP. The startup develops a web app for filmmakers that simplifies and automates video production workflow. WRAP was founded by Yaroslav Semerak.
- The second place and $18,000 – Knopka. The startup develops an loT/SaaS solution for hospitals, which ensures that medical assistance is provided within 3 minutes. The Zaporizhzhia-based startup was founded in 2019 by Ivan Osadchy.
- The third place and $15,000 – Nanit robot. It is the developer of edtech solution for kids and adults in STEM, allowing to learn engineering skills in creative process.

In particular, Nanit Robot and WRAP are startups of Demium Ukraine, and Knopka is a participant in USF’s Pitch Day and the Innovation Voucher Program.
