Fozzy Group Acceleration Program

Fozzy Group together with the Ukrainian Startup Fund with the support of EIT Community RISE Hub Ukraine are opening a call for startups participate in the Fozzy Group Acceleration Program!

Startup topics in the accelerator are:

Improving the guest's experience:

  • The guest's journey - from purchase planning to feedback after visiting the store;
  • Tools to improve interaction with guests, including personalized communication, messages, and offers;
  • Tools that provide customers with personalized recommendations, helping to increase basket value;
  • Web-based sales using audio, video, sharing technology, etc;
  • Solutions that use gamification and training to make it easier for guests to use in-store technology;
  • Solutions that help determine the customer experience.

Improving the efficiency of internal processes:

  • Optimisation of the supply chain: space, loading, routes, pallets, driver management and autonomous delivery vehicles, including trucks and drones;
  • Optimisation of the sales process with inventory monitoring and prevention of expiry losses;
  • Robotisation of all operations, from fulfillment and logistics to store operations and guest services;
  • Technologies that further automate in-store operations: storage, cash registers, hybrid stores and solutions without human intervention
  • Solutions to improve the efficiency of online trading, delivery and ordering;
  • Increase the efficiency of store staff in various functions, from handling goods to managing people and equipment;
  • Solutions to increase storage efficiency;
  • Increase the efficiency of recruitment and training processes, work with documents and finances.

New products and services for guests

  • Products and services that help guests to complete their daily tasks in Silpo stores or via the app to make their visit even more fulfilling and better meet their needs;
  • Additional in-store services: products and services that can be both ordered and received in stores, including any relevant services, delivery and returns;
  • In-app experience: services that can be ordered and managed in the Silpo app.

Foodtech

  • Food:
    • Alternative protein sources and lab-grown meat
    • companies using innovative methods for growing fresh food
    • unique farm products 
  • Early-stage companies engaged in packaged consumer goods (food, near food & non-food);
  • Packaging;
  • Disposal of food waste.

Depending on the startup's current stage and the founders' needs, an individual acceleration plan will be developed, which may include:

  • Expertise and mentoring. Learn from the best industry mentors to improve your business models and expand your technology portfolio.
  • Networking and useful business contacts. Participate in networking sessions and meet representatives of various businesses of the Group and partners.
  • Large-scale testing. Test your solution in the Silpo network. You can use the test results as a case study.
  • R&D support. Work hand-in-hand with our IT team and accelerate your product development to get it ready for real-world market testing.
  • Publicity. Increase your brand awareness and build trust by working hand in hand with one of the most recognisable names in Ukraine.
  • Assistance in preparing for fundraising. Experts will help you prepare materials for raising funds in the following rounds.
