Showcase your startup on the world’s main tech stage — Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon!

Web Summit Lisbon is one of the largest and most influential tech conferences, gathering over 70,000 attendees, 3,000 companies, and 1,000 investors each year. In 2025, the stage will host global tech leaders such as Meta, Uber, Qualcomm, and many more.

It was at Web Summit that companies like Stripe, Uber, OnePlus, Nest, Careem, and GitLab took their first steps, while the winners of the PITCH competition have already raised over $1.5 billion in funding. This is where trends are born, partnerships are forged, and success stories that reshape industries begin.

🇺🇦 Over the years, Ukraine has showcased more than 100 startups at Web Summits from Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro. Our innovators have taken the main stages, reached the TOP-10 of the main pitch competition, secured investment deals, and consistently proved that Ukrainian tech is a global force with bold ambitions.

As part of Web Summit Lisbon 2025, 15 Ukrainian startups will be selected to receive: Tickets for all 3 days of the conference for the team (3–4 representatives); an exhibition spot (1 day) and presence at the Seeds of Bravery booth; access to side events, delegation meetings, and networking with investors and partners.

Participation in the selection requires covering travel and accommodation costs independently.

Who can apply?

Startups meeting the following criteria are invited to apply:

• Stage Seed or Series A.
• Presence of customers, confirmed traction or raised investments.
• Own unique software or hardware product.
• Founded less than 6 years ago.
• Use of technologies developed in Ukraine or R&D carried out in Ukraine.
• Positioning as a Ukrainian startup and having a registered Ukrainian legal entity.
• Readiness to cover travel and accommodation costs independently.

Preference will be given to teams that have not yet participated in delegations supported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund in 2025, as well as to beneficiaries of the Seeds of Bravery project.

Selection stages:

1. Submission of the application on the USF portal;
2. verification of compliance with the competition requirements;
3. participation in the online Pitch Day and presentation of the startup to a jury of Ukrainian and international experts;
4. selection of 15 startups based on the evaluation results and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation at Web Summit Lisbon 2025.

Selection timeline:

Application period: September 15, 2025 – September 26, 2025 Status update of applicants on the USF portal: by October 1, 2025 Online Pitch Day to select finalists: October 2, 2025 (TBC)

The Ukrainian startup delegation to Web Summit is organized by the Ukrainian Startup Fund together with Plug and Play within the Seeds of Bravery consortium, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the GIZ project “DT4SME”, implemented on behalf of the Government of Germany (BMZ).
