TECHCRUNCH DISRUPT 2023

Ukrainian delegation to TechCrunch Disrupt will be held thanks to the USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine. The initiative is implemented jointly by the Ukrainian Startup Fund together with Ukrainian bridge and Techosystem, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. The project is also supported by the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco.

TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 is one of the most famous events for startups all over the world. It is taking place in San Francisco, USA on September 19-21, 2023.

The global startup community comes together every year to discover industry news, gain new knowledge, and celebrate achievements which defined each founder’s journey. Every year the event is attended by up to 10,000 participants from 125 countries. It is a unique opportunity to network with like-minded people, potential clients, and investors.

STARTUPS ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE:

• Pre-Seed, Seed, or Series A;
• with a functioning MVPs and, preferably, existing users;
• have an English-speaking founder or team member;
• registered and operating in Ukraine, positioning themselves as Ukrainian (this should be indicated on the website and on all public resources such as Crunchbase).

According to selection results 10 best teams will become a part of the Ukrainian delegation at TechCrunch Disrupt 2023. During the event there will be a startup alley and startup pitching at the stage. Also, there are planned side events with the presentation of the Ukrainian tech ecosystem and the possibility to pitch your business.

To conduct a quality presentation of your business, organizers recommend to bring at least two representatives of the startup and to prepare for taking part in the TechCrunch Disrupt 2023. Delegation organizers fully cover participation, pitching, flight and accommodation expenses of one startup member.

STAGES OF SELECTION:

1. Filling out the application;
2. Verification of compliance with competition requirements (you are a Ukrainian startup, you can effectively use the participation in the conference and side events, your business matches TechCrunch Disrupt target audience, your product is focused on relevant markets, etc);
3. Participation in a pitch and startup presentation to the jury of Ukrainian and international experts);
4. Selection of 10 companies based on jury’s evaluation results and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation at TechCrunch Disrupt 2023.

The application deadline is 20 August 2023.

The public pitching will be held on 23 August 2023.

Ukrainian startups which will join the Ukrainian delegation at TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 can also take part in the startup competition that will be held in frames of Silicon Slopes Summit 2023. The summit, both online and offline, is planned on September 27-28 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Additional expenses for the transfer from San Francisco and accommodation in Salt Lake City are covered by the startups.
