SELECTUSA INVESTMENT SUMMIT 2023
The USAID Competitive Economy Program, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, and the Ukrainian Tech Ecosystem, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States of America, invite Ukrainian companies to present innovations at the SelectUSA Investment Summit, which will take place on May 1-4, 2023 in Washington, DC.
The SelectUSA Investment Summit is the leading US event for promoting foreign direct investment, bringing together investors, companies, economic development organizations and industry experts to facilitate investment deals and attract investment.
SelectUSA gathers more than 3,000 participants each year, including officials from U.S. states and territories, more than 1,200 business investors from more than 70 international markets, as well as industry experts and corporate representatives.

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT, A STARTUP MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
- develops a new technological product or service, or brings an existing technology to the market in new ways;
- has an MVP;
- has been on the market for less than 10 years (founded on or after January 1, 2013);
- the startup’s annual revenue is less than $10 million;
- has up to 40 employees;
- plans to expand to the US market over the next 2–3 years;
- positions itself as Ukrainian (this should be indicated on the website and on all publicly available resources, such as Crunchbase) and has a Ukrainian legal entity from which it operates.
If your startup fulfills the criteria, we invite you to participate in the competition of Ukrainian startups and join the delegation at the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2023.
The organizers of the delegation provide a ticket for one representative from a startup, which includes participation in the SelectUSA Tech program, participation of selected teams in delegation activities, namely meetings with government representatives, local accelerators, incubators, investment funds and other organizations in the technology sector. In addition, expenses for flights and accommodation for 1 representative of the startup will be covered. To participate in the competition, you must apply by March 16, 2023. The organizers do not limit the industry categories in which the startup operates, but priority is given to the following: CleanTech, FinTech, MedTech, SaaS.
APPLICATION REVIEW PROCESS AND SELECTION OF DELEGATION MEMBERS:
- Complete an application about your product and startup by March 16, 2023.
- Review for compliance with the terms of the competition.
- Participation in the Pitch and presentation of the startup to the jury.
- Selection of 8 companies based on the results of the jury’s evaluation and an invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation to the 2023 SelectUSA Investment Summit.
