What will selected participants receive?

• Tickets for the team to attend Viva Technology 2025
• A dedicated space at the Ukrainian national pavilion
• Access to an international networking platform to connect with potential partners and clients
• Participation in side events of the Ukrainian delegation, including closed-door meetings with investors, government representatives, and industry leaders

Travel costs are not covered.

Who can apply?

We invite startups and companies that:

• Are ready for growth, seeking investments, new clients, and opportunities for European collaboration.
• Develop technologies in Ukraine, have R&D activities, or use Ukrainian innovations.
• Position themselves as a Ukrainian business, are registered in Ukraine, and indicate this on all public platforms (website, Crunchbase, etc.).

Selection process:

1. Application submission
2. Eligibility check
3. Online Pitch Day: presentation before a jury of Ukrainian and international experts
4. Final selection and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation at Viva Technology 2025

Application deadline: March 30, 2025
Final online pitching session: till April 15, 2025

The Ukrainian National Pavilion at Viva Technology 2025 is organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Embassy of Ukraine in France, Ukrainian Startup Fund, IT Ukraine Association, together with La French Tech Kyiv, Nazovni, and Seeds of Bravery.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

A startup registered in Ukraine that identifies as Ukrainian.
A working prototype.
Technology readiness level (TRL) of 5 or higher.
Significant market potential (readiness to attract investments and/or implement pilot projects).

SELECTION STAGES:

1. Completing an application on the USF portal.
2. Verification of compliance with competition requirements.
3. Participation in an online Pitch Day and presenting the startup to a panel of Ukrainian and international experts.
4. Selection of up to 10 startups based on evaluations and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation at 4YFN 2025.

SELECTION TIMELINE:

• Application submission: January 15–23, 2025
• Status update for applicants on the USF Portal: By January 27, 2025
• Online Pitch Day: By January 30, 2025
