Action Plan for the implementation of deep technologies and digital innovations as a prerequisite for a sustainable energy transition

We invite energy professionals and relevant stakeholders from the energy industry, academia, government and civil society to join us for a strategic session to improve the integration of deep technologies and digital innovations in the energy transition in the EU and Ukraine through our action plans.

Join us for the second stakeholder workshop “Action Planning for High Tech and Digital Innovation in the Energy Transition in Ukraine” by WEnnovate, a project funded by the European Commission. We are diving into the world of high tech and digital innovation in the energy transition, and we need your input to shape our action plans for a more interconnected, efficient, and inclusive innovation ecosystem.

We are creating a friendly and inclusive environment where all stakeholders can contribute. This session will be part of a two-day online event scheduled for June 26 and 27. It will include sessions on 4 countries: Netherlands, Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine. You can also contribute to the strategy sessions on other countries if you are familiar with the national context.

Date and time of the event:

Together we will take the next steps towards a more interconnected, efficient and inclusive innovation ecosystem!

Since the beginning of this year, the Ukrainian Startup Fund and six partners (Sustainable Scale up Foundation (Netherlands), G-Force SRO (Slovakia), Kyiv Academic University (Ukraine), Unify Energy BV (Netherlands), Province of Utrecht (Netherlands), Design Terminal (Hungary)) have been conducting research on digitalization ecosystems and deep technological innovation as part of the energy transition in the Netherlands, Ukraine, Slovakia and Hungary as part of the WEnnovate project funded by the European Commission.

Together, we aim to facilitate the transition to local energy communities by addressing challenges such as grid congestion in the current energy system. Our final output will consist of action plans that will be presented to the European Commission in November this year.

During our research, we conducted a series of interviews and a first stakeholder workshop with energy professionals and relevant stakeholders from the energy industry, academia, government and civil society. In this way, we were able to improve our understanding of current policies, bottlenecks and recommendations.

Now we are ready to present our findings and plan the next steps together with you. Therefore, we invite you to our second stakeholder workshop, where we will look at the integration of high tech and digital innovations in the energy transition.

The second part of a two-day online event scheduled for June 26 and 27:

  • During 2 days we will dive into the challenges of the energy transition and identify possible solutions.
  • There will be sessions on 4 countries: The Netherlands, Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine. You can choose which strategic session you want to join or attend all of them.
