TechCrunch Disrupt 2024

The USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine together with the Ukrainian Startup Fund with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine invites Ukrainian technology companies to join the selection process for participation in TechCrunch Disrupt 2024!

TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 is a three-day conference taking place from October 28-30 in San Francisco, USA. The event focuses on cutting-edge technologies and developments, attracting global thought leaders who are shaping the future of the industry.

Bringing together over 10,000 startups, venture funds, and numerous speakers, Disrupt opens new horizons for every business.

It is an innovation platform for startups and companies at all stages of development. Founders, experienced entrepreneurs, and investors will find unique resources, powerful connections, and expert insights for breakthrough and scaling opportunities.

As part of their participation in TechCrunch Disrupt 2024, up to 12 selected startups will receive a spot in the Expo Zone, entry tickets for their representatives, as well as participation in delegation activities, side events, and meetings with government officials and technology organizations.

The delegation organizers will cover the expenses for one representative per startup to attend the conference, including flight and accommodation costs.

STARTUPS AND PRODUCT COMPANIES ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE:

• Seed, Series A, Series B;
• with an MVP and existing users;
• with an English-speaking founder or team member;
• prepared for investment, with previous investment rounds from notable angels and/or funds;
• using technologies created in Ukraine and/or ongoing R&D activities in Ukraine;
• positioning themselves as Ukrainian (as indicated on all public resources, including Crunchbase) and having a Ukrainian legal entity through which they operate.

SELECTION STAGES:

• Completion of the application on the USF portal;
• Verification for compliance with the competition conditions;
• Participation in an online Pitch Day and presentation of the startup to a jury of Ukrainian and international experts;
• Selection of up to 12 companies based on evaluation results and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation at TechCrunch Disrupt 2024.

SELECTION TIMELINE:

• Application period: August 15, 2024 – August 28, 2024
• Status update on the USF portal: September 30, 2024
• Online Pitch Day, where finalists will be selected: September 9, 2024

The Ukrainian startup delegation will participate in TechCrunch Disrupt thanks to the USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine. This initiative is being implemented jointly by the Ukrainian Startup Fund with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
