USF with partners started accepting applications from Ukrainian startups to participate in CES 2023 (USA)
Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF) together with USAID Competitive Economy Program (CEP), Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), UVCA, GIST and CRDF Global are announcing an open call of Ukrainian startups for participation in the largest technology exhibition in the world – the International Consumer Electronics Show 2023 (CES), which will take place on 5-8 January 2023 in Las Vegas (USA).
CES is the largest technology conference in the world, which is traditionally held in Las Vegas, and more than 100,000 visitors participate in it every year. It is a global arena for innovation, where participants and guests get to know advanced technologies, global brands do business, and the best innovators take the stage.
At the beginning of this year, with the support of USF, WNISEF, UVCA and GIST 12 Ukrainian startups already participated in this event, presenting their projects as part of the Ukrainian pavilion at CES 2022.
And next year, 12 (twelve) startup winners of the competition will have the opportunity to present themselves and the Ukrainian startup ecosystem at CES 2023.
Ukrainian startups that meet the following criteria are invited to participate in the competition:
- – The company must develop a product in any consumer tech product category, such as hardware, software, content, and technology delivery systems (please see the complete list of CES Product categories here);
- – The company must be able to showcase finished product or service at CES;
- – The company must have an opportunity to attend the CES 2023 in the USA on January 5-8, 2023;
- – The company must have an English-speaking founder of the startup or its representative;
- – The company must have financial means to cover the flight, accommodation and other expenses, associated with the stay in the USA during the CES 2023;
- – The company must be able to meet Eureka Park Entry Criteria (please see the complete list of criteria here).
To participate in the startup competition at CES 2023, apply by October 23, 2022.
As a result, the 12 best startups, selected by a professional jury during the CES 2023 Pitch Day (October 2022), will have the opportunity to present their product as part of the Ukrainian startup pavilion in the Eureka Park exhibition hall.
Also, the winners of the contest will be eligible for CES 2023 exhibit fee waiver and partial compensation of travel and accommodation costs.
In addition, winning startups are provided with:
- – PR campaign to build relationships with the media at the CES exhibition;
- – PR campaign to promote the winners of the competition that will take part in the CES exhibition;
- – Intensive training (CES Bootcamp) to prepare your team for the CES exhibition.
