Online workshop for ukrainian startups held – The European Unicorn factory: funding opportunities for Ukrainian innovators
Today an online lecture from EIC Accelerator took place, where representatives of Ukrainian startup ecosystem learned about European funding opportunities.
At the beginning of the event, welcoming words were addressed to the audience by Serhiy Shkarlet, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, and Pavlo Kartashov, Director of the Ukrainian Startup Fund, who spoke about the state of Ukraine’s innovation system since the war began, as well as the joint initiatives and support provided to startups now.
We would like to thank Jean-David Malo (Director of the European Innovation Council and SME Agency), Keith Sequeira (Chairman of the EIC, Strategy and Policy Feedback) and Cornelius Schmalz (Head of EIC Accelerator) for their time and knowledge.
The experts talked about the activities and the main concept of the European Innovation Council and funding instruments used by the EIC to support innovation projects. They also presented programs from EIC Accelerator and answered questions from the participants of the event.
