$350,000 for supporting Ukrainian projects: results of three Pitch Days within the Grant Program of the Ukrainian Startup Fund, supported by the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (Western NIS Enterprise Fund)

As part of the Ukrainian Startup Fund’s Grant Program, supported by UMAEF, the fourth, fifth, and sixth Pitch Days took place, resulting in $350,000 awarded to the winners. Each project received funding of $25,000 or $50,000, aiding in the implementation of innovative ideas and fostering the further development of projects, thereby supporting Ukraine’s startup ecosystem.
Winners of the fourth Pitch Day (pre-seed stage):
- Crosscheck Sustainability Suite – A corporate platform that simplifies external auditing, tripling compliance verification speed.
- iPlayARt – An AR-based app that teaches musical instruments using augmented reality technology.
- Tayra – A system that integrates necessary information into the existing medical database used by doctors during patient consultations.
- Bliss Brain – An innovative meditation app powered by artificial intelligence.
Winners of the fifth Pitch Day (seed stage):
- Swapp – A mobile app for buying, selling, and exchanging secondhand clothes.
- Banani AI – An AI-powered interface design generator based on brief text descriptions.
- Natulang – A language learning app built on modern speech recognition and synthesis technologies.
- Sitniks – A platform that helps retail businesses increase profits by automating marketing tools and key business processes.
Winners of the sixth Pitch Day (pre-seed stage):
- Neomi – An automated platform that purchases products according to users’ individual needs.
- Robol – Developer of humanoid robots and autonomous cafes, where drinks are prepared, payments are processed, and visitors are engaged by the robots.
On February 26, 2024, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, together with the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund, announced the relaunch of the Fund’s flagship program. This initiative aims to actively promote innovation, strengthen the country’s economy, and enhance the global competitiveness of Ukrainian projects. The program plans to allocate $2.5 million to support promising Ukrainian companies at the pre-seed and seed stages.
To receive grant support from the Ukrainian Startup Fund, applicants must register on the Fund’s web portal, complete and submit an application, which will be assessed by experts. Projects that receive high scores will have the opportunity to present their projects on Pitch Day and compete for grants of $25,000 or $50,000, depending on the project stage.
