The Ukrainian Startup Fund will hold the 33rd Pitch Day

The Ukrainian Startup Fund will conduct the 33rd selection of startups for public funding. 13 teams at the pre-seed stage will present their projects. Each claims for a $25,000 grant. Pitch Day will take place on the 12th of November in the online format.

«Due to the latest measures to counter the pandemic, we decided to temporarily return to the online format of pitches. This format is already familiar to both startup teams and viewers. But fortunately, not all news is related to quarantine: congratulations to our longtime partner TechUkraine on joining us as a media partner already in official status», CEO of the Ukrainian Startup Fund Pavlo Kartashov comments the announcement.

What startups will we see?

  • RichMe. A virtual financial advisor with a full range of financial planning services in your smartphone in 5 minutes (Kyiv).
  • ZenWalk. A mobile application that makes walking meaningful. It helps people improve their health by motivating them to walk more. Namely, thanks to a gamified map, a tracker of minutes to live, and a great social mission (Kyiv).
  • E-movex. An artificial intelligence-based autonomous robot (AMR) with the ability to avoid obstacles and look for alternative delivery routes. An autonomous robot helps to transport goods in warehouses from point “A” to point “B” on itself or by hitching to a basket, rocker, or trailer (Sumy).
  • Self’in’Sure. An alternative to voluntary health insurance, which allows you to neutralize the conflict that arises between the insured and insurance companies (Kyiv, Kharkiv).
  • AdMarket. A marketplace in the field of offline advertising, which helps businesses with the management of advertising campaigns by introducing technological innovations in the processes of search, planning, and purchase (Kyiv, Odesa).
  • Vuikobox. A platform for running an Agri-food business.  Artisanal food from local suppliers. Impressions and tourism. SaaS toolbox (Kyiv).
  • My Cooperative. Housing cooperative in smartphone (Kyiv).
  • Aromoshelf. An AI-powered recommendation platform for fragrance retailers, creators, and end-users (Kyiv).
  • Olenka.ai. A voice bot for sales with AI. Calls customers, analyze their words, and responds according to a set script (Kyiv).
  • RICO. An AI-based intelligence nutrition advisor. This is a friendly nutritionist in your pocket, that aims to solve the problem of the availability and convenience of healthy eating, personalization of nutrition advice, and adaptability of recommendations in real-time (Kyiv).
  • NOTY.AI. A platform transforming video calls into actions. We transcribe meetings and summarize them, so our users can stay fully engaged during the meeting and have action items and follow-ups ready just after it. Noty is a knowledge keeper of your meeting data, so you can get any information in seconds by asking questions (Lviv).
  • Connect 21. A platform for psychologists and psychiatrists, who will be with you 24/7. Here you can find a professional with specialized education and a therapeutic group. Colleagues will be able to choose special courses for the advancement of the quality level (Kyiv).
  • WheelKeep. An invisible trip computer that helps cycling enthusiasts protect their bikes from irretrievable thefts and enjoy the freedom of everyday cycling. It includes a smart hardware device and a mobile application (Dnipro).

The online broadcast will be available on our YouTube channel at the link, so everyone will be able to watch it in real-time.

Special prizes

Also, special prizes will be awarded to the teams participating in the pitch from the partners of the Ukrainian Startup Fund: UNIT.City and iHUB

The UNIT.City prize is 3 months for the winning team in the newest coworking space NEST on the territory of the innovation park plus access to its infrastructure.

The prize from iHUB is to reward a team selected by iHUB representatives for three months of free use of their workplaces. In the future, the startup founders can be iHUB residents with a 50% discount for 6 months if they wish.

Note

The Ukrainian Startup Fund is a state fund launched on the initiative of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The mission of the fund is to promote the creation and development of technological startups in the early stages (pre-seed and seed), in order to increase their global competitiveness. The process of selecting startups for grants takes place on a competitive basis: companies are evaluated and elected by the board of independent investment experts. 

The Fund constantly accepts and evaluates applications from Ukrainian startups. Pitch Days are regular events from the Ukrainian Startup Fund, which encourage innovative companies and individual specialists, developers to receive funds for the implementation of their ideas.
