The winners of AGRO HACKATHON are chosen who will present their startups at AGRO INNOVATION WEEK in DUBAI (UAE)

This week, Agro Hackathon, a hackathon dedicated to innovations in the agrarian field was held for the first time. 25 national teams had the opportunity to take advantage of educational and mentoring programs, receive critical comments and recommendations about their products, and publicly present their developments to the most prominent players and investors in the agricultural sector of Ukraine. The best of them received a great gift in the form of innovative travel vouchers to cover the costs of Agro Innovation Week in Dubai, as well as the opportunity to pilot products to the corporations that are the partners of the event.
During the event, startup teams to get acquainted with trends and innovative solutions in the agricultural sector, attend lectures on finance, marketing, legal issues, investment, product and sales, etc., participate in workshops and mentoring sessions in real-time from leading industry experts and mentors with extensive experience in innovation and investment, consult and get practical advice on implementing the idea and promoting their own business.

- VKURSI ZEMLY. Land analysis and data service, which allows to obtain information about land plots from state registers, to audit the land bank of communities, to inspect land plots when buying or lending.
- FlyAGData. A solution that reduces the cost of agricultural production and increases the profitability/margin of farms, by collecting agronomic and engineering data in real-time from equipment, turning them into valuable analytical data for farmers.
- Fruittorg. b2b agricultural marketplace of narrow specialization: fruits and vegetables, which through algorithms of artificial intelligence provides demand, forms planning, provides security of product quality, and forms the Internet of Things in the fruit and vegetable sector.
The event was organized by the Ukrainian Startup Fund jointly with ISE Corporate Accelerator and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, in order to find promising startups and create successful cases in the agricultural sector.
