Fund’s position on the situation with the startup Apiway

On numerous complaints regarding the discrediting public post of one of the participants of the Fund Grant Program – Anton Vyborny, CEO of the startup Apiway, the Ukrainian Startup Foundation (hereinafter – the Fund) analyzed publications on his personal pages on social networks Facebook and Telegram. We officially announce that the Fund does not share the position expressed by the CEO of the startup Apiway Anton Vyborny on the issues raised in these publications. We consider the posts to carry reputational risks, in particular for the Fund, and have sent a corresponding appeal to Anton Vyborny.
In this regard, we would like to inform you that the application for the Grant Acceleration Program of the Fund by the startup Apiway has already been withdrawn, a s it stands at the moment, funding or any other form of support for the startup Apiway by the Fund is not provided.
We remind you that almost 200 Ukrainian startups have been financed as a result of the Fund’s activities, the total amount of attracted investments is 30 million US dollars and 21 million US dollars for related services. Thanks to state support, national teams are demonstrating success in building a modern innovative business, which should continue in the future.
