CES 2022 Debriefing Event – impressions from participants and new opportunities
CES 2022 Debriefing Event took place on February 10 in Kyiv (UNIT.City).
International Consumer Electronics Show 2022.
CES is the largest technology conference in the world, traditionally held in Las Vegas, and is attended by more than 100,000 visitors each year.
This year, a delegation of the best Ukrainian startups, selected by USF, WNISEF and UVCA experts, also took part in CES 2022, where they presented the innovation potential and startup ecosystem of Ukraine, as well as presented their projects in the Ukrainian pavilion.
The event was attended by representatives of organizations involved in the search, selection and preparation of the best startups to participate in the CES – USF, Western NIS Enterprice Fund, Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA), VentureWell, GIST and others.
During the event, CES 2022 participants shared their impressions of the conferences and told success stories of their startups – Qudi, Neverdark, Effa, Manna, Esper Bionics, Unlink VR, Sorbsys, Wider MultiVision, Time for Machine, Recoshelf, nect.
Pavlo Kartashov, Director of the Ukrainian Startup Fund, made a welcoming speech at the event: “Our program of innovative vouchers was launched not so long ago, but it has already proved its effectiveness. The world is talking about Ukrainian startups. We are very glad that together with our partners we managed to make the idea a reality – to inform the world community that Ukraine is rich in innovation, that we are developing a startup ecosystem, and we have something to surprise the world. Ahead – expanding opportunities for startups to present themselves to the world. I am convinced that Ukrainian innovation projects have a chance to become the country’s business cards. ”
In addition, USF partners Kateryna Degtyar, Olesya Malovana, Ihor Markevich and Yevhenia Bespalova spoke about opportunities for startups in 2022. This year a global road show is planned for Ukrainian startups around the world – ExpoDubai, WebSummit, Collision, SXSW and others.
