Taking Your Startup to the Next Level
This workshop aims to provide startup founders and everyone, who’s thinking about launching their business, with valuable practical tips on making sure you’re ready for their first investor and his legal team.We will cover everything from the very basics – company formation, employment relationships, founder compensation – to more advanced topics like intellectual property protection, securities regulations and online policies and regulations involved. Make sure you come prepared with questions about your business and we will use them as case studies during the session – as much as the ethical regulations allow.
About the presenter:
With years of international experience in intellectual property, entertainment, licensing and Internet law under his belt, Alexander Loveyko, Esq., is a New York-licensed attorney in the Miami office of the IP and Entertainment law firm ChaseLawyers. He has advised major international brands during his career, including the Dutch-based mega-communications provider VimpelCom and one of the world’s most famous IP brands – the Russian animation sensation “Masha and the Bear”.As part of his current diverse practice, he represents start-up founders, entrepreneurs, SaaS and mobile app creators, fashion designers, inventors, eCommerce brand owners, social media influencers, as well as musical artists, producers, record labels, visual artists, movie makers, and international athletes.
