John Hutchings, Innovation Fund Manager, ATI
Acceleration through Innovation (ATI) is a University of Plymouth led project looking at innovation in its widest sense in SMEs in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly. This commenced in 2017, has recently been renewed for a further 3 years where John holds the role of Innovation Fund Manager, looking after a grant pot of £500k to be distributed to qualifying businesses across the county. John will highlight some of the best resources and how to put together a fund application.
David Crawford, Founder, The Big Beanbag Company
Creator of eco-friendly, luxurious bean bags hand-made to order in Cornwall. David will share his own experience of developing a business with help from funding success.
