Understanding your numbers is crucial in building a financially fit business and knowing the fundamentals will allow you to make the most informed start-up financial decisions.
Join the Start-ups in London Libraries SME Champions of Bexley Libraries and Newham Libraries, Ioanna and Rashed, for this free 2-hour workshop on how to get your head around the numbers and set a great foundation for your business.
If you have never attended a Start-ups in London Libraries workshop before, please also fill out this additional registration form in advance of the session. This form is crucial for our funding purposes (more detail below).
Who is this workshop for?
The workshop has been designed for participants who:
- do not have a financial background or knowledge
- will ideally have already participated in the startups in London Libraries Get Ready for Business: Finance workshop
- look forward to space and the time to understand their numbers and how they apply to their own business
What to expect
This workshop is specifically designed as a group session for a limited number of people to allow for meaningful interaction between all the participants.
In this 2 hour session, we will cover the basic concepts of cost, Cash flow, profit and loss, and the Balance sheet and allow for plenty of time for questions and a discussion on how all these apply specifically to your business.
