Highly successful entrepreneurs Casey Cowell and Greg VandenBosch share their expertise on building tech companies and fundraising in the Midwest, far from the coastal startup and investment hubs.

About the Speakers

In 1976, at the age of 23, Casey Cowell co-founded U.S. Robotics, Inc. He served as Chairman and CEO throughout the company’s history culminating in its merger into 3COM Corporation in 1997, the second largest merger ever in high tech at that time. Initially a $200 post-college startup, U.S. Robotics, Inc. became the world’s largest manufacturer of modems and related products that connected computers to the global telephone network. Today Casey is an active investor, advisor and board member in a broad range of companies with an emphasis on startups and early stage companies in the areas of technology, the internet, social media and healthcare. He holds an A.B. degree in Economics from the University of Chicago. Greg VandenBosch centers his business interests on the consumerist movement in healthcare. He is currently the Co-founder and CEO of HealthBridge, a fintech startup. Prior to HealthBridge, Greg was an early investor and Executive VP Corporate Strategy at RespondWell, a telemedicine startup sold to Zimmer Biomet in 2016 (NYSE and SIX: ZBH). Greg is also the founder of MedDirect, Inc., a healthcare revenue cycle management company acquired by MedNax, Inc. (NYSE: MD). He is a graduate of Hope College in Holland, MI. Реєстрація
