Our special guest

Dr. Tereza Iofciu is Head Data Science Coach at neuefische Bootcamp in Hamburg and an experienced speaker on data, product, management, and diversity. Tereza has 10+years of industry experience having worked as a data science manager, data scientist, data engineer, and product manager. She is a co-organizer of the PyLadies Hamburg group, hosting regular meetups dealing with data, python, and IOT together with some awesome ladies. She is also a vice-chair of the Python SV Verband and part of the Diversity&Inclusion initiative of the PSF.

Target participants

Talents looking for a 2nd or 3rd role in the field. You typically will have some experience already – and possibly up to 4 years in the field.

If you are looking for a first role you are likely to enjoy analytical thinking and have experience in Python or R and the relevant libraries. Also, if you are looking for a career change, then your background may well be in e.g. related data professions (like BI) or software engineering, or a data-intensive Ph.D. in a STEM discipline.
