How does Ukraine’s tech sector work during the war? (Comment of the USF Director Pavlo Kartashov for the French media L’Express)

The Ukrainian technological community has created many tools that help to fight the enemy and bring victory closer – USF Director Pavlo Kartashov told the French media L’Express.
The French magazine L’Express asked the leaders of the Ukrainian technological ecosystem of Ukraine, how does the Ukraine’s Tech-sector work during the war? In particular, Ajax, Everstake, Railsware, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, UNIT.City, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, MacPaw, Mosqitter and others.
Indeed, according to L’Express, in 2022, the ability to handle weapons is not the only way to fight the aggressor. The evidence of this is the development of the Ukrainian Tech-industry. The entire sector mobilized to help the people and the army resist Russia. In fact, within a short period of time, a digital “shield” was created, and a powerful Ukrainian IT army was formed.
Today everyone knows the Air Alert application, Aid for Ukraine crypto-platform, DoctorOnlineUA initiative, SpyBuster program, etc. All these projects were developed from scratch, often even in bomb shelters.
This is another piece of evidence that the war will not be an obstacle to the innovative future of Ukraine.
After all, despite the war, the Ukrainian technological sector continues to work almost at full capacity.
Ukraine is strengthening its relations with global giants (Microsoft, Amazon, etc.). And Ukrainian startups continue to actively participate in the largest international technology events (SXSW, Viva Technology, Collision, Web Summit, Startup Grind Global, TechBBQ etc.), telling the world unbiased information about the events in Ukraine and demonstrating the innovative potential of the ecosystem.
“Today, our most important goal is simple – we must keep working and moving forward. It’s essential to support our economy. This allows us to help our army and develop our country,” stated USF Director Pavlo Kartashov.
