Ukraine To Present Its Resilient Tech Ecosystem At Web Summit 2022: Press Conference

A press conference regarding Ukraine’s participation in Web Summit 2022 was held in Kyiv.
For the second time, Ukraine will present its own pavilion at the world’s main tech conference.
Top startups, funds, IT companies and the state jointly present the powerful Ukrainian technology ecosystem to the global IT community.
The organizers of the national delegation joined the press conference, including representatives of UNIT.City, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, Diia.City, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Flyer One Ventures, and Sigma Software Group.
“For the second time, our Fund not only supports the Ukrainian delegation at one of the most important and influential conferences in the world, but also organizes the selection of Ukrainian startups that demonstrate the high level of technological and investment potential of our country. We are sure that now it is very important to realize ambitious goals and accept the challenges of the growth and further development of the technological industry,” Pavlo Kartashov said.
This year, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, with the support of its partners, selected the largest delegation of Ukrainian startups in history, which will present their projects and the national IT industry to the whole world already in November.
In just 10 days, about a hundred applications were received from participants from all over the country. The best 24 teams were selected and Pitch Day was organized (UBOS, ReLeaf, Jiffsy, Logos, Revisior, PeopleForce, Choice31, I3 Engineering, Liki24, BannerBoo, Kycaid, SkinnerAI, Lookerz, MISU, Keiki, Adminix, LabsArena.com, SCOPO, Awesomic, Birb, StanPass, Trustee Plus, DeHealth Network, Dooozen).
According to the results of pitching, 8 startups will additionally receive financial support from the Fund’s partner – GIST (DeHealth Network, ReLeaf, Keiki, Birb, I3 Engineering, Jiffsy, Logos, Revisior).
In 2021, 9 teams of Ukrainian startups had the opportunity to present their product at Web Summit 2021, and this year Ukraine must demonstrate the extraordinary resilience of the ecosystem during the war. So, in 2022, 24 startup teams will be part of the delegation from Ukraine.

All selected startups will receive a free stand and entrance tickets to the Web Summit, and the Fund’s partner GIST Net will additionally provide financial support for 8 startups to cover travel and accommodation expenses.
