Ukrainian Startup Fund and USAID’s program “Competitive economy of Ukraine” started official cooperation: a Memorandum was signed

Today, on the 22nd of September, the Memorandum on partnership and cooperation was signed by the Ukrainian Startup Fund and USAID’s program “Competitive economy of Ukraine”.
The parties unify their efforts to develop of Ukrainian startups and to increase the efficiency of their business in the domestic and international markets.
Additional plans include support of development of innovations, promotion of startups’ potential, as well as their access to markets and finances.
“Our goal is to enhance development of startups in Ukraine, which will lead to increasement in quantity and quality of technological projects from Ukraine, that will be able to scale on the international level”, – Director of the USF Pavlo Kartashov said.
“The signing of the Memorandum of partnership outlines our further cooperation with the Ukrainian Startup Fund, which should strengthen the Ukrainian startup community in response to wartime challenges. Since 2019, USAID CEP, in collaboration with USF, has supported the development of more than 200 Ukrainian startups, and we expect this number to increase over the next two years, with Ukrainian entrepreneurs gaining access to international expertise and being able to present their companies at the world’s largest thematic events to attract investment”, – Olesya Zaluska, Head of the USAID’s program “Competitive economy of Ukraine”.
