Ukrainian Startup Fund announced grants of up to UAH 400,000 (equivalent to EUR 10,000) for business development for SMEs from the regions of military actions
APPLY IF YOUR COMPANY:
- Is registered in the following regions of Ukraine: Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Odesa, Dnipro, Poltava, Kirovohrad and Kyiv regions (Kyiv city is not including)
- Is not located and does not conduct its business activities in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine
- The ultimate beneficial owners are exclusively citizens of Ukraine
- The company does not operate or have subsidiaries in the Russian Federation and/or Belarus and other countries included in the sanctions list;
- Has the potential for rapid expansion of production, which contributes to the normalization of the local economies in which they operate
- Has not received grants from GIZ or other international organizations or international technical assistance projects in the last 24 months;
- The number of employees ranges from 11 to 249 people at the time of application
- Meets other criteria specified in the Grant Program Regulations.
IF YOUR COMPANY OPERATES IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
- 10.1 Production of meat and meat products
- 10.2 Processing and canning of fish, crustaceans and molluscs
- 10.3 Processing and canning of fruits and vegetables
- 10.4 Manufacture of oils and animal fats
- 10.5 Manufacture of dairy products
- 10.6 Manufacture of milling and cereal products, starches and starch products
- 10.7 Manufacture of bread, bakery and flour products
- 10.8 Manufacture of other food products
- 10.9 Manufacture of prepared animal feed
- 28.25 Manufacture of industrial refrigeration and ventilation equipment
- 28.93 Manufacture of machinery and equipment for the production of food and beverages, except for tobacco processing
❗Important: only one application can be submitted by one company (related companies cannot apply).

10 grants of EUR 10,000 each to support Ukrainian entrepreneurship have been made available under the EU4Business: SME Competitiveness and Internationalisation programme, co-funded by the European Union and German Government and implemented by the German federal company GIZ in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian online public service portal Diia, the Ukrainian state institution Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, and the Ukrainian National Project for Entrepreneurship and Export Development. The implementing partner of the initiative is the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
Data from applicants is collected, processed and stored by the Ukrainian Startup Fund for the purpose of analyzing applications. The collected data is not transferred to third parties.
