Pavlо Kartashov: Startups that pass the test of war will be a magnet for investors (Comment for DOU.UA)

Does Ukraine have the potential for military-tech development? Can Ukraine become the top country in the world in this industry?
Online media DOU.ua asked the main stakeholders of the ecosystem about this.
The Ukrainian Startup Fund actively supports innovative projects that are a priority for the state during the war. Currently, defense and cyber security are critical industries.
“It is very gratifying that Ukrainian startups want to strengthen the defenders on the battlefield and firmly hold the technological front, provide defense and counterattack. I am convinced that the projects that will receive USF grants will significantly accelerate the development of military-tech in Ukraine. And we will help them in this not only financially. After all, the Fund not only provides grants for the development of the best projects, but also provides direct contacts and the opportunity to cooperate with the best mentors and experts in the industry,” said Pavlo Kartashov.
According to the director of the Fund, Ukrainians have already demonstrated their innovativeness to the whole world – even in the conditions of a full-scale war. And this is a signal for investors. Startups that will pass the test of war will be a magnet for investment companies.
