Web Summit Lisbon 2024
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and Ukrainian Startup Fund, supported by the Ukraine Moldova American Enterprise Fund and Seeds of Bravery invite Ukrainian startups to participate in the selection process to represent the national tech ecosystem at Web Summit Lisbon 2024!
This November, thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, and tech leaders will gather in Lisbon to unite the world of technology at Web Summit Lisbon— the largest global conference in the field of innovation.
Every year, Web Summit Lisbon attracts over 70,000 attendees, more than 1,000 investors, and 3,000 of the most promising startups from around the world to shape the future. Are you ready for the most exciting event for leaders of the global tech ecosystem?

As part of their participation in Web Summit Lisbon, 24 selected Ukrainian startups will receive a place in the startup pavilion, entry tickets for representatives, and participation in delegation activities, side events, and meetings with government officials and tech organizations.
Travel costs for delegation participants are not covered.
Startups meeting the following criteria are invited to apply:
- Seed or Series A stage;
- have customers, traction, or secured investments;
- own a unique software or hardware product;
- founded less than 5 years ago with up to 150 employees;
- use technologies developed in Ukraine or conduct R&D in Ukraine;
- position themselves as a Ukrainian startup with a Ukrainian legal entity;
- ready to cover travel and accommodation expenses.
During the selection process, priority will be given to civil startups that have participated in delegations organized with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ukrainian Startup Fund no more than twice in the past year.
Selection Process:
- Submit an application on the USF portal;
- Verify eligibility against competition criteria;
- Participate in an online Pitch Day and present to a panel of Ukrainian and international experts;
- 24 startups will be selected based on evaluations and invited to join the Ukrainian delegation at Web Summit Lisbon 2024.
Selection Timeline:
- Application period: 06.09.2024 – 15.09.2024
- Applicant status update on the USF portal: 17.09.2024
- Online Pitch Day to select finalists: 20.09.2024
