University Startup World Cup 2024
The Ukrainian Startup Fund, together with Venture Cup and with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and YEP, announces the beginning of the selection process for Ukrainian student startups to participate in the University Startup World Cup 2024.
Venture Cup held the first University Startup World Cup in 2015, bringing together startups from all over the world. The best university impact startups from around the globe come together to network, learn, and pitch their ideas!
Based on the results of the selection, the winner will earn a place on the Venture Cup stage in Denmark to present their project, compete for the title of “Best University Startup in the World,” and receive a monetary reward to further develop their project.

Impact Student Startups Are Invited to Participate in the Selection Process:
- Be part of a startup with two co-founders (preferred but not required), with at least one co-founder affiliated with a university (or a graduate within the last two years).
- The startup should aim to create a positive impact on the world.
- Eligible startups can be in the early or growth stages.
- The project must be presented in English.
The project must be in one of the following categories:
- GREEN: Making our planet and society more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
- SOCIAL: Solutions that help people locally and globally, improving society and our lives.
- DIGITAL: Everything from software and financial services to new platforms.
- PRODUCT: A physical device or prototype that improves functionality or helps customers.
- HEALTH: Optimizing the healthcare industry, saving more lives, and improving well-being.
During the preparation for Demo Day, the finalist team will have the opportunity to participate in an online boot camp with powerful speakers, receive one-on-one advice from leading industry experts and prepare for the final pitch on the international stage.

- Application Deadline: June 23
- Determination of the Finalist: June 25
- Final: October in Denmark for early-stage startups and November in China for growth-stage startups
Travel costs for delegation members are not covered.
