SCIENCE&BUSINESS – GIST PITCH DAYS

We are pleased to announce another opportunity for the development of Ukrainian knowledge-intensive startups, Science & Business – GIST Pitch Days!

The event will be organized by the Ukrainian Startup Fund together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the support of USF partner – GIST (Global Innovation through Science and Technology).

The U.S. Department of State’s Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) initiative empowers young innovators through networking, skills development, mentoring, and access to funding to develop solutions for startups that solve problems of the economy and its development.

Since 2011, GIST has partnered with the private sector to reach more than 27 million innovators worldwide. GIST catalyzes solutions for startups that address economic and development challenges through networking, skills development, mentoring, and access to finance. GIST has trained more than 15,000 startups that have gone on to generate more than $250 million in revenue. This is done through competitions, startup workshops, and interactive online programs.

Since 2020, GIST has been empowering science and technology entrepreneurs in Ukraine through GIST Innovates trainings, GIST Business Incubation in the United States, and support for Ukrainian startups to participate in leading technology conferences in North America and Europe.

Science&Business is a series of events from the Ukrainian Startup Fund (Innovation Development Fund) and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, that operate to explore the scientific and innovative potential of scientists, startups, companies, experts, media investors, search for innovative ideas and solutions, raise awareness, marketing, sales, investment and innovation.

Science&Business – GIST Pitch Days is an opportunity for scientists and entrepreneurs with ready-made knowledge-intensive solutions to gain experience in presenting their startups and receive a $5,000 stipend to develop their innovations.
