Director of the USF: New reality requires innovative approaches to effectively respond to the challenges of the war in Ukraine

New reality requires innovative approaches to effectively respond to the challenges of the war in Ukraine. This was stated by Pavlo Kartashov, Director of the Ukrainian Startup Fund, during the Web3-hackathon at Kyiv Tech Summit.
From September 6 to 9, a three-day Web3 hackathon aimed at developing software solutions that can help Ukraine during the war and after the victory was held in the UNIT.City innovation park as part of the Kyiv Tech Summit.
The event was organized by the charitable blockchain fund Unchain Ukraine together with Ukraine DAO, Atlantis World metaverse and representatives of the Web3 community.
The Summit brought together the best developers, technology providers, designers and innovators who were working on solutions for real problems and helping the Ukrainian people in their struggle for freedom.
One of the invited speakers of the event was USF Director Pavlo Kartashov, who spoke about the main activities of the Ukrainian Startup Fund during the war, vectors of support for blockchain, Web3, deeptech startups, as well as opportunities for partners.
“On a daily basis we are becoming more and more convinced that Ukrainian technologies should not be underestimated. On its side, the Fund is actively working to support representatives of the innovation community involved in military-tech, deeptech and Web3 areas”, – Pavlo Kartashov stated.
During the official closing of the Kyiv Tech Summit, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, the second most important cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, also spoke, once again expressing his support for Ukrainians and emphasizing that he follows everything that is happening in Ukraine.
