Chris McKenzie is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. She has over 5 years of experience in retail and technology. She’s worked for Macy’s, Inc., Kmart and Facebook, Inc. She is a Venture Fellow at the NYU Innovation Venture Fund at the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute. After graduation she plans to join a venture capital firm to continue to advocate for entrepreneurs in the consumer sector.
Jeffry Aronsson (NYU Law), founder & CEO, The Aronsson Group
Jeffry Aronsson (LL.M ’79) is the founder and CEO of Aronsson Group, and has a broad and deep strategic, operational, advisory and invesment experience in luxury markets world wide. He has served as the CEO of Oscar de la Renta , Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Emanuel Ungaro and Ralph Rucci.
Prior to his career in the luxury fashion industry, Aronsson practiced law, specializing in corporate taxation.
Joseph Ferrara (Stern MBA), co-founder, Resonance Companies
Joseph Ferrara is the co-founder and co-CEO of Resonance Companies. Founded in 2015, Resonance invests in brands with a demonstrated connection to customers.
A seasoned supply-chain operator, Ferrara was CEO of the largest high-end women’s tailoring facility in the US and is a major investor and board member for several companies including, but not limited to: Body Labs, RunThrough, and Tommy John.
Sapna Shah, principal, Red Giraffe Advisors
Sapna Shah is an angel investor, retail expert and three-time entrepreenur. Through Red Giraffe Advisors, preseed investments in startups that are creating the future of the retail, including B2B retail tech/fashion tech, marketplaces, DTC ecommerce and consumer brand sectors, with a particular focus on startups that have female and/or underrepresented founders.
